Inspirational quote on a sticky note reminding people to focus on their blessings rather than their problems.

Attitude of Gratitude

Daily writing prompt
What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?

Every morning, as soon as I open my eyes, I make it a point to jot down at least three things I’m grateful for. This simple practice, which began after my AA sponsor suggested it six months ago, has become an indispensable part of my daily routine.

By setting my mind on a positive course each morning, I create a foundation for a more fulfilling day. These three affirmations serve as a gentle reminder that even amidst life’s challenges, there are always blessings to be found. They help me to cultivate a sense of gratitude and optimism, enabling me to see the good in every situation.

As I write down these expressions of thanks, I often find myself reflecting on the people, experiences, and qualities that bring joy and meaning to my life. It’s a powerful way to connect with the positive aspects of my existence and appreciate the abundance that surrounds me.

Morning Gratitude

Eyes unfurling, a new day dawns,
A canvas blank, where gratitude spawns.
Three blessings penned, a daily rite,
A practice started, shining bright.

Each morning's mantra, a positive seed,
Nurturing hope, a heart to heed.
Challenges loom, yet blessings abound,
A grateful spirit, ever sound.

Reflecting on life, its joys and pain,
A tapestry woven, a soulful refrain.
Connecting with grace, a thankful soul,
Embracing abundance, making me whole.
